I'm trying desperately to stick to keeping my assignments simple. I've gotten overly-ambitious in the past, which is usually followed by frustration, and then restarting the entire project.

Basically, I had to do the sun in a stain-glass style. My teacher showed us how in Illustrator and I just mimicked his work down to the colors. Almost done with the landscape project. She's proven to be more difficult than the previous assignments. Lots of color picking, textures, perspectives, gradients, etc. I call myself choosing an easy picture to transform in Photoshop, but...NOPE!

Cranky. Taking classes Saturday morning at a campus that requires two bus rides is proving to be the death of my sanity. I'll probably never do weekend classes this far from home again (or, I can just get a car).

Anyway, next project is landscaping. A final test to see how well we know these tools.

Through no fault of my instructor, I spent most of the class trying to navigate layers on Adobe. (Realizing you drew on the wrong layer for 30 minutes is a hair above crib death in terms of awfulness) I've had this issue before even with Bamn.

As far as I'm concerned, Aaron and Ahmed is the first big catch of 2011.

The fact that a book about the psychology of the "war on terror" dropped only a mere few weeks before Osama Bin Hidin' was killed, only makes it that more important.
